Senior Software Engineer, Browser Technologies
| your mission: |
as the lead engineer responsible for our site and browser-based client, you are shaping the face of activeweave.
you work closely with our product management, user experience, and core server development teams,
to determine what is built into our service, when, and how.
you architect, design, and develop our web application, its user interface, the underlying client-side data model;
you devise and optimize communication protocols to our servers. |
| your experience: |
browser extension development (Firefox and Internet Explorer), data modeling,
distributed computing, web application development, AJAX development. |
| your background: |
preferably BS/MS in Computer Science. |
| your skills: |
extensive cross-browser Javascript, CSS, DOM, XML, and XHTML expertise, Java programming, HTTP, REST. |

Software Engineer, Server Technologies
| your mission: |
you'll be a key contributor to our activeweave back-end server architecture. you are concerned with robustness, scale, and throughput. you'll design and develop our middle-tier and back end server infrastructure, including object and persistence models, processing flows and algorithms. you'll work with our user-interface developers to tailor API's and communications protocols to provide a reactive, dynamic and rich experience for users of our Ajax-enhanced web application front ends.

as the lead engineer in charge of our activeweave back-end server,
you are living and breathing robustness, scale, throughput and APIs.
you architect, design, and develop our core infrastructure, including its object and persistence models, its processing flows.
you work with the developer community, the client development team to determine what APIs are exposed,
what open standards we follow or contribute to.

and interactions for the facilities they define and implement. you help refine the user behavior model,
with input and feedback from the user community.

Director of Product Marketing and Management
| your mission: |
you are responsible for planning and executing on products that will help
activeweave achieve value and volume, and help us meet our business objectives and financial targets.
you work closely with the executive management team to define, schedule, coordinate, communicate,
and deliver the activeweave platform, applications,
and product roadmap; analyze the marketplace, customers and competitors; define and champion product requirements
and pricing and business models;
and help clearly deliver activeweave's marketing message.

product management experience delivering internet-based services and applications and marketing experience generating demand for them. |
| your background: |
MBA with strong technical background, or MS in Engineering with strong business background. |

sharp analytical, problem-solving, and verbal and written communication skills. ability to work well with both business and technical collaborators. |

you read both the HBR and the MIT Tech Review, preferably online, and ponder how to build business models based on RSS. |
